Meet Attorney Ismail Yousef

Ismail Yousef is the Managing Partner of Romanow Law Group’s Portland, Maine office. Born and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Ismail has lived in many places on the map ranging from the Middle East to the corn fields of Indiana. Out of all the places that Ismail has been, the people, environment, and culture of Maine hold a special place in his heart. No matter where he goes, Ismail is a natural people person who is adaptable to adjust to varying social norms and possesses a strong sense of empathy and observational skills. Ismail’s ability to assimilate and understand those around him is one of the reasons why he is a tremendous advocate for his clients and a feared adversary in the courtroom.

Beyond his legal career, Ish is deeply involved in various philanthropic endeavors and community initiatives. As a Board Member at ANSAR, a resettlement agency for refugees from conflict-stricken regions such as Syria, Ukraine, and Afghanistan, Ish has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to providing support and refuge to those in need.
Personal Life
Ismail and his wife are the proud parents of three daughters. Outside of his legal pursuits, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring the great outdoors, and engaging in recreational activities that rejuvenate his spirit.
